I'm surprised it didn't happen sooner. But I had a lot of writers block, and many more second thoughts on everything going into the next episode of The Tim Gavin Show. One of the most crucial bits of advice I've gotten is to be consistent, and I'm hoping I can keep with my goal of putting up a new episode every monday morning. Working Monday-Friday 8-4 just so I can keep some sort of routine. But with such a strict routine I never know when to give up on an idea, if I should start fresh, or if I should just have a longer time in between uploads. Every week gets a little harder to be alone and I'm tired of being sad all the time. On top of that, each day I keep thinking about moving back in with my family but at the same time, I just moved into my place last fall, and I don't want to just give it up if I don't have to.
Everything is frustrating and I can't wait for my life to be less crazy.
What I'm listening to:
Charli XCX - how i'm feeling now
Charli XCX is my productivity inspiration this year. Within the span of only a couple months, she's managed to make an entire album, and it's a GREAT album at that. Keep in mind this is within a year of putting out an Album already and even with the resources she has it's still mind-blowing how fast this album was done.
The 1975 - Guys
It's been a long time since a songs lyrics cut so deep for me. This song made me think of when I was living in a house with a bunch of friends in Peace River, and how much I miss those friends and want so desperately to go back to that time when all I had to worry about was making a good show. I feel like "Notes On A Conditional Form" is going to be my album of the year, and not just because everything else is being postponed.
Neil Cicirega - The Mouth Trilogy
This is just a really funny mashup album series. The whole trilogy of albums is up on Youtube.
