Research on this episode was even more of a reminder of the diverse array of people adding something new to music. Remixes are for more than the dance floor. They are new ways of extracting meaning and purpose from other art, to adapt the old into something new and be a gateway for older work. To give it the shine that the artist wanted it to have in the first place.
