Note: Copied over from my previous blog.

The early stages and works of any creative output always has room for improvement, and the podcasts I've made are no exception. One thing that has remained constant is to never underestimate the power of just asking. After listening to an episode of Soundoff Podcast, I reached out to Host Matt Cundill for some advice and some feedback. To my surprise, I heard from him exactly one hour later, and soon after we had a great phone call talking about where I could take this. Then after the call I started from the ground up...sort of.

This was shortly after I had prepared my 3rd episode of "Unemployed With Tim Gavin" so I figured I may as well release that, and today I'm working on some brief filler so I can keep a regular upload schedule, but over this week I got really ambitious. After spending 6 years "getting to the point" and "trimming the fat"; I need to basically toss all that out the window and work on going deeper. So that's exactly what I'm going to do.

Of course there's also the name change. Partly to prevent the podcast from getting removed anywhere but also to keep it going when I get back to work. So it's now "The Tim Gavin Show". I feel bad about doing such an abrupt change because I got such fantastic splitters from one of my friends; Pat Laporte. But I guess that's the nature of this sort of thing.

Can't wait to share "The Tim Gavin Show"with you soon.

Hope you're hanging in there, and remember; all music is real music.

What I'm listening to:

Fiona Apple: Fetch The Bolt Cutters

The 1975: If You're Too Shy (Let Me Know)

Pendulum: Hold Your Colour
